Middle pair with gutshot in decent pot
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 2 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, 3 folds, Button raises, SB calls, Hero calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls. Flop: (10 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players) SB bets, Hero ... Is this a call or a raise? I'm assuming calling is the better option since I probably don't have top pair at this point and want as many people in as possible for drawing odds. |

Re: Middle pair with gutshot in decent pot
No, this is a must-raise. Raise this for value and to knock out the opposition in case you have the best hand.
