Absolute Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG posts a blind of $1.
2 folds, Hero calls, 4 folds, BB Checks, UTG (poster) checks.

Flop: (2.50 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG bets, Hero calls. BB Folds

Turn: (2.25 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG bets, Hero raises, UTG calls.

River: (6.25 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)

If the table is passive pf is probably ok. I'd muck it usually though.

I would fold or raise preflop, usually raise but it depends on who is in the blinds. I don't raise the flop. The turn raise is easy, you have a straight and the flush draw.

Fixed, it wasn't significan't though. Is there no freakin converter that works right for Absolute????

(1) 1/2 goes in micro

(2) open-limping from MP2 is generally a bad idea unless, say, you're at a very low limit and you know the players behind you are typically calling stations, and loose passive ones at that. further, the presence of the UTG poster makes it even more enticing to raise

(3) raising the turn as a semi-bluff would be better if you were up against an observant opponent or a scare card had fallen. this guy posted UTG. yes, it's a 4 straight, but you need a 5 to have one. even this guy doesn't believe you have a straight.

But he does have a straight...

Raise or Fold is a good thought. If the blinds will fold a lot, Raise it up. Fold otherwise as your hand sucks against 2-3 players... My guess is that a Raise doens't take it down enough times to be warrented.

When you get to MP2 you are treading into no-limp territory. There are few situations where limping is correct there (I have trouble contriving such a situation). At a weak tight table (where you don't get cold called with ATo) I could find a raise. This would change the dynamic of the rest of the hand.

EDIT: I missed the UTG as a poster. It comes down what read you have on the people after you preflop. I could likely find a raise here.
