Default Poker in Montreal

Is there any?

I'm going the end of the summer, and am curious.

Nope...I hear that the closest poker room is at Akwesasne, which is in upstate NY just over the border from Cornwall, ONT--which is 60-90 minutes from Montreal.

Thanks. I thought that may be the case.

As an ex-McGill student I felt compelled to fix your post.

Good news.Casino de Montreal is installing a card room. Bad news...although they hoped to have it up and running this summer, it looks iffie. The game is enormous in Quebec so it's going into all of their casinos. Right now there are a couple of private game clubs running downtown but I suggest you avoid them unless you have a friend or family member who wears wings on his back and drives a Harley. The run into the states can be done fairly quickly but when the Casino gets its act together that should be one of the better card rooms in Canada, rivalling River Rock in Vancouver.

ROFLMAO -- However, I don't think my wife will go for the strip clubs. Any other recommendations?

Jazz Clubs - Biddles of course , though he has died and I think the club has changed somewhat.

Strip Clubs - sheeesh, too many to list. Chez Paris is prolly one of the better ones. SuperSex is overrated.

Holy crap! Supersex has a secret pokerroom?

Also, are there ANY strip clubs in Montreal that have contact lapdances? I was hugely disappointed first time I went up there after compared to some dances i've gotten down here.

It's not Chez Paris...it's Chez Paree (pronounced parr-eh), and it's way overrated. Strictly tourists and downtowners who cannot make it to the real clubs. Get in a cab and ask them to take you to the clubs out toward Dorval (about half way to the airport). It is FULL CONTACT and you can have them play the flute for about 200. Hundreds of girls and very nearly no uglies...mainly awesome. It's a buffet man...load up.
