Default Downswings (no hand content)

We all know downswings are part of the deal. I am wondering if there is a way to categorize them, or if they come in all shapes and sizes. I am currently in a 150BB downswing over the last 2 days (5K hands). Would this be a "standard" downswing, or is it severe, or mild. Just curious.

Dwelling on and analyzing downswings is a really good way to make them worse. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm serious.

What is "non-standard"? Is there such an animal as -1500bb in 1K hands? I'm sure there is for a retard, but there has to be a maximum variance for a solid player. Or am I way off?

I understand that this may sound like a "BooHoo for me post", but that is not my intent. I'm not trying to dwell on it, I am just curious. (If you could see me now, you would see that I am calm.) These swings intrigue me. I understand they are part of it and accept them. I know proper play will win out eventually, I am just trying to get some background on the math, as I am too stupid to do all of the probability stuff myself.

funny thing about my current downswing.......its only at 2/4. if i play my normal 1/2 or 1/2 6-max i do fine. if i move up, all hell breaks loose.

I went through a monster downswing 500bb last month after never having seen a 300bb downswing.
150 is just a bump in the road.

Be patient with it. I'm having the worst month I've ever had (-.01BB/100 in March after 20K hands at 3/6). But I'm trying to be optomistic. I'm a longterm winner at 1.44BB/100 now, but my urge to kill meter is rising with each losing session. All i can say is thank god for rakeback.
