I don't get it, how do you check and then it's the SB's turn to act?

rirver should have been on sb first. This turn needs a bet, if villin calls with 3 to a suit on flop he has something, but very often this is going to come your way. As played you bet the turn, but if you bet you need to put sb all in, he is short stacked.

EDIT: I saw wrong stack size, thought villain was 6 dollar stack, in this case fold cause this isn't a good spot given the actuall stack sizes

You could bet 6 on the turn, and then just shut down (IE not call any more bets, fold the king high flush).

As played river is an insta fold.

I didnt see much that villian was calling the flop with that I beat after that turn card, given that I had 2 broadway hearts. A of hearts, Queen of hearts, and thats about it.


Villian showed his hand...98 of hearts for the SF. Turns out villian was a maniac and I caught him later.
