I think it partially depends on your image and recent actions. Have you been coming over the top lately? Are you currently viewed as Table Captain? The worse your image, the more I like this play. If you've been quiet lately but have a decent image, I don't think you get any calls and it reduces your chances of making this play with a stronger holding.

More likely, UTG folds feeling he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar and is more likely to play back at you when you really do want a fold.
