Default How do you get into the Stars Sunday $500K?

So I'm going to start playing the Stars 500K on a regular basis, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to get into it. I have the bankroll to direct buy, but I was thinking playing satellites might be the way to go. But I'd like to see what the most popular method of entry is for you every week players. So for all you regulars who play this beast every week, how do you do it?

Thanks in advance!

Frost:

You're missing one (and the one I like the best). The $36+3 MTT. There's a seat per 6 entries, and it goes pretty quick. Relatively soft. I actually never play the sunday, just use this to accumulate T$.

Yeah, I use the $36+3 with no rebuys. 1 in 6 gets an entry. Usuaully an easy $215 tournament bucks too if you unregister from the tournament. I don't have the attention span to outlast 3000+ players.

All right I'm new to the pokerstars tournament game. What do you mean accumulate tournament money? By winning these, can you just apply them to other tournaments or something?

Thanks for pointing out the $36+3, I totally forgot about it (maybe I should actually try playing it) . Also to answer the question, when you qualify for any of pokerstars bigger tournaments (usually just the $500K) you can unregister and use that $215 for other tournaments. They also have W$ which can be used for satellites to special events (WPT, WSOP, etc.)

the 36+3 freezeout is the easiest way to qualify, but it doesnt run enough,or atleast i dont see it often enough .

The 11r turbo's are easy too, but i've been sucking at them recently.

Yeah, I really like it. I think it's usually twice a day? I like the 1 entry per 6 seat type satellites. Bodog has a $5 sat like this where the play is comically bad.

I'm not as big a fan of turbos. I think they stress me out too much.
