Let's start with your friend on the button. Caps preflop, three bets the flop and folds to the cap at 33-1. That's normal. As a bonus, I'll say he had 22, but we'll never know. Sad.

Assuming anybody else in the hand plays sensibly, which is probably my ticket to losing, The big blind must have had a standard check/call the 3bet hand...J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

MP2 going into calldown mode, with a 5 aggression, well everything fell apart for him, but he had just enough that he couldn't fold K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Why do I feel that was too logical and the dollar prize just slipped through my fingers?

BB just has to have a small pocket pair that flops a set. The turn would give him a boat. But I'll guess 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] - the turn gives him quads?

My fiest impressions is that MP2 has either KK, QQ, or AK. I'll go with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ...

I'll assume this is an easy guess...but it may also be because I saw a similar hand just recently

BB has the other 6's. 6h, 6s.
MP2 has Ad, Ah.
Maybe I missed the BB hand but MP2? Seems reasonable.

MP2 slowed down a bit too early for AA on this board; I'd expect him to raise the turn the first time around if he had the other rockets. I'd also expect him to raise the river if he held KK; it's a bit much to put BB on quads at that point. But I don't think he calls to close the river with QQ or lower, assuming he has any kind of read on Hero or BB. So I will likewise go with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

BB is passive, but not all that loose, which I think somewhat limits the number of hands he would cold call 3 bets with preflop. His passivity means that when he raises the turn, that 6 helped him. He's holding the case A with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]; even relatively tight fish find it hard to resist suited aces.
