I was gonna start a thread about this. Dwyane Wade is not just good. I believe he will be the prototype point guard, not to mention all NBA first team, in no more than two years. He is going to go down as one of the greatest players in history, and he'll rack up more than a few MVP awards in his time. The physical talent, creativity, and basketball IQ are all already there, the fact that he is already nailing short jump shots at will is what is really impressive though. He's already unstoppable, and he has all kinds of time to refine his game and improve. He is going to be scary good.

Lebron and Wade are going to revive the league... This is a great time for basketball.

That third quarter was sick.

Damon Jones should be shot everytime he shoots, though.

The Sox better be doing better than the Marlins by the time August rolls around or else I will be totally tooled on by my cousin. I hate how I had to be down there right in the middle of the C's big winning streak so that I would be making Celtics championship claims. I also hate how he knows very little about baseball yet throws out ridiculous claims. Oh well, as long as he's throwing around claims like "Dontrelle will be Cy Young" and "Cabrera will be MVP" I'll be safe. FUCK

This was a quote from American Beauty. If you change it, it isn't as cool.

I don't folow basketball. Is DW a rookie, fresh out of highschool or college? Has he been hyped up in the past or is he just having a breakout year?

DW is in his sophomore season I think. He had the misfortune of coming out the same year as Lebron and Melo so he was kind of lost in the shuffle, but he had a great rookie year with the Heat. His scoring average is up about 4 points since they got Shaq, but he has been a legit player from day 1.

2nd year....came in the same year as Lebron (hope you've heard of him) and Carmelo Anthony ....that year Darko Milicic was drafted 2nd and like everyone thought it was an outrage b/c Melo should have gone there...Wade had a huge NCAA tourny at Marquette that year but went 5th also behind Chris Bosh.

Last year he was very good and flew under the radar a bit b/c of Lebron and Melo. He lead his team to the playoffs actually and played very well.

This year Lebron was dynamite and Wade again flew a bit under the radar after the Heat picked up Shaq and were supposed to be good. Well, he's averaged like 28.5points/8.5assists/6.6boards for the playoffs so far. 2nite he dropped 42 points...22 in the 3rd quarter. And Shaq hasn't played the last 2 games - it's been *all* Wade.

Every game I watch him in I am more impressed than the last one....he just plays the right way and does things so seamlessly and under control while not being nearly the physical specimen Lebron is.

Oh, did I mention that he's 22?
