Default Tough spot with two pair

Villain is a solid player with stats of 33.3 vpip and 14% PFR. He hasn't gotten out of line at all. I have been playing somewhat loose but nothing to extravagent that would cause people to play back at me with weaker holdings.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

UTG ($347.80)
Hero ($392.60)
CO ($263.40)
Button ($512.40)
SB ($243.20)
BB ($112.85)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $2.
UTG calls $4, Hero calls $4, CO raises to $10, Button calls $10, SB (poster) calls $8, BB calls $6, UTG calls $6, Hero calls $6.

Flop: ($60) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks, CO checks, Button checks.

Turn: ($60) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB checks, BB bets $10, UTG calls $10, Hero raises to $50, CO folds, Button raises to $100, SB folds, BB folds, UTG folds, Hero ???

So whats your play on the turn and plan for the river(if you get there)?

Absolutely hate the preflop call. Raise to isolate or fold and find a better spot.

I think you have to fold this on the turn. Flat call preflop, checks through on the flop then min reraises reeks of set goodness.

Fold > Raise > Call preflop imo. Calling is very bad imo. As for the turn, he could have 99/22 here, I guess 9/7 and A9 are also possible as he was on the button. 33% isn't exactly supertight, so I won't discount those. Out of those the only thing you beat is 9/7 , and I think a set is more likely here. You say he hasn't gotten out of line, so I can't imagine he would be checking behind with that many people in the hand with just a big ace. This problem was easily avoid preflop, though.

Fold PF.

Flop check is good.

Turn raise is good. Easy fold to re-raise.

Yeah I think he has a set here about 90% of the time here too. I was kicking myself for calling the min raise when I looked back at the hand but I insta folded when a blank hit on the river and he fired for 200.

Is limping there really that bad? Even with donkeys at your table at don't play well postflop?

Easy fold after the turn raise. It's players that will refuse to accept that they're hand is no good here who will drive themselves crazy.

fold to mini raise, or certainly fold to river bet as you did.

A7o is always bad

Just ask yourself these questions:
What am I hoping to hit?
What worse hands pay me off when I hit it?

Yes, it's really, really bad. A7o is complete trash.
