A flush wins around 83% of the time so its a resonable assumption.

What is with the influx of these ridiculous equity assumptions? Put villian on a range that gives Hero the pot 83% of the time on the river and post it so I can laugh at you.

thank you very much.

it's like saying after the flop is 777 and you hold AA, "uh it's like 15000:1 to flop quads, cap every street, duh."

Yeah, what you said was pretty funny, but I think what they said was funnier . This thread is just full of jokes. What can you expect when it was started by a joker?

Why on earth would you think you should reraise the river? You just explained every reason not to.

Edit: was it because you won the hand and wanted more money?

Or maybe it was because my 3-bet was capped and I had to call?

No... yeah I called and won the hand. He had K8o (?) and MHIG. It's not that I greedily wanted more money; I'm just not sure how much a flush is worth here in this spot. At full ring, I'm always calling this -- but since I have much fewer hands at 6-max, I was wondering if maybe this is one of the differences, that I should be 3-betting here.

Guess not.

Your opponent sounds like the type of player to usually raise when a tightie bets, but usually check when tightie checks. Am I right?
