Since this is an oot game, I want you to get approval from Commodus and Dynasty.

I don't want anyone to change names without the permission of the user, ever.

Aside from this possible oot thread, I want name change requests to be referred to me.

soi whats the deal w/ color changes and banning?

i can only click on a user and go to edit user but see no place for ban/color change etc...

and the admin home is gone so where is it?

The color box is on the main member information page. It seems to be blank by default. I wouldn't go around changing colors, though.

Admin home seems to be gone, or at least not available to mods.

As for banning...
You know, I haven't been able to figure that out yet. Someone want to fill me in, too?

Edit the user, click on the Permissions tab, uncheck the box that gives the user access rights and he is banned.

Gee, you mean the thing that says, "Uncheck to ban member," right under it?

:Cola smacks his own forehead:

Thanks, LLoyd!

[censored] causes enough chaos in OOT (and other forums) already. There's no need to make it worse.

I don't understand this.

Not that anyone asked me, but my only real problem with it was the number of users who would be requesting a change. As I understand it, [censored] is more than willing to put a cap on that number. Such a cap would ensure nothing too crazy happens.

While today might not be the best day for it, I don't see why anyone would view this as anything but fun. What's wrong with that? It's not as if the people who requested a change in the thread wouldn't know what could happen if their name becomes [censored]'s choice.

Nothing about this has anything to do with the way [censored] chooses to ban people, etc. So your decision here seems to be based more on your dislike of his other methods than anything else, which just doesn't seem right.

Please elaborate on why you feel your user color threads and actions were fun and harmless but a name changing event is unacceptable.
