Default problem im having with it

the problem im having with the hand is that i of course lost my opponent on the turn when i pushed. he clearly had some draw he wanted to be able to call with and rather than let him call getting bad odds i pushed and made it impossible for him to call.

what do you all think about betting about $250 or $300 and letting him make the error to draw getting the wrong price?

your read better be good. If the draw hits on the river, folding to his all-in w/a great price is a good way to go broke.

Also, if he check-raises you all-in on the turn, what you gonna do then?

my bad. the point was, pot-sticking oneself against a good player isn't good poker.

Not specific to this hand, but I notice that in a lot of your posts you make these all in bets when you are sure you're ahead - it almost sounds like you're so sick of getting sucked out on in limit games that you love the idea of shutting people out. This is fine, but really limits how big you can win. The correct decision is nearly always to bet the minimum amount that will still make a call incorrect.

Why not bet the maximum he is likely to mistakenly call?

Meh - of course that's incorrect - no, retarded. Certainly not what I endeavored to write - I hope the point I was trying to make - or the one rick made is not lost.
