Default Is this fold ok?

Hello again!

Here is another hand that I'm not to sure about. I'm leaning towards that the fold was correct, perhaps I should have laid down the hand when I was reraised on the flop?

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $2.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, MP1 calls, 2 folds, Hero (poster) checks, 2 folds, BB checks.

Flop: (4.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 bets, Hero raises, BB folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 3-bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (5.25 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP1 bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 6.25 BB

I'd probably call down.

You picked up a gutshot on the turn. I'd call the turn for sure and probably make a crying call on the river if I don't improve.

A read on MP1 would obviously help your river decision.

I think I call this down, but I'm not crazy about it. A read on MP1 would help, naturally. I'm not sure if calling down is correct tho, I make some loose calls sometimes.

This seems like a pretty read-dependent situation. The more agressive they are, the more I would call down. The more passive, the more I would fold. I don't see a rock 3-betting in this situation frequently without the trips.

I think folding this is horrible. You might have the best hand, and you have outs if you don't.

i'm calling the turn at least.

assuming the Worst that he has the T, you have 2 outs for your Jacks and 4 for your 9s: 6 outs you're getting 6.25 and need ~7.5, so with implied odds, it's close enough for me figuring worst.

next case he has A/KJ and didn't raise preflop:
2 outs for Jax to split, 3 outs for your Qs (all good since J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] is out there), and 4 for your straight: 9 outs, needing ~4 to call, getting 6.25:1, easy call.

well actually i guess, worst case would be he had JT, JJ or TT, but that is the fastest nut fullhouse/4-of-a-kind i have every seen and weakest preflop

the river would be read-dependent. w/o one, i usually call.
