Whats your standard line against check/minraiser?
My examples uses 2/4 NL.
You raise 12 preflop only unknown bb calls. If it matters, say it were from button. Say flop comes 359 You bet 2/3 pot and he checkminraises you. What is your line with A5? A9? 88? TT? How does it change if he bought short (ie 150) |

Fold.
*edit* Maybe if you had A9, and he was quite short, a push would be correct. |

Does folding these hands mean villains will just miniraise all your CBs?
I am always lost when someone miniraises my flop bet. I would be very interested to get some more opinions on this. |

Re: Whats your standard line against check/minraiser?
Generally call.
With the A9 and A5, you're getting 4:1 on 2 cards, which means that you need 4-5 outs to continue. You have 5 outs if your two-pair outs and set outs are good. With TT, I probably bet more on the flop and call a minraise. TT is enough of an overpair that you're probably ahead most of the time here. Fire again on a blank turn. With a weak pair or underpair, I check/fold it on the flop unless I hit the set. (Disclaimer: I'm mostly a FR player; in 6-max, this may play like the tens). I do think these are all fairly marginal plays, but: (1) you have position, and (2) you don't want to be frequently folding to a minraised C-bet or you'll soon start to see even the most timid fish playing back at you. Edit: your example for the flop should read: "he checks, you bet, then he minraises". As phrased, the positions are confusing. |

With tpgk or better I usually put a shortstack all-in. I see people call with all kinds of garbage that should fold to a 3-bet.
Deeper I will call with tpgk or overpair and take a turn. |
