Raising the flop is certainly better than calling, and I do believe there is a decent chance you have the best hand. I would make it about even money against the SB, and 75% against the donk.

But alot of things could go wrong. What if the donk caught a piece of the flop, or had some sort of pair before the flop, and calls the two cold on the flop and runs it down the entire way? What if the SB has a hand?

I know that all things are possible, but I wouldn't feel strong enough here to start firing away. Real chance for a chip-spewing excursion.

I would muck on the flop, and wait for a better opportunity.

I dont hate it, the fact that the fish is still left to act behind you gives your flop raise some credibility, and he probably missed that board. I do think you are better off just folding on the flop. This board is probably dry enough for the sb to call you down with a big ace, and you also run into a real hand some of the time as well. If it were me I would have flopped a nine and went from there.

comments ? if you like what do I do to a flop 3 bet ? or do I follow thru on turn and or river ? if you dont like do I fold preflop ? 3 bet preflop ? or fold to flop bet ?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think you should decided if you likely have the best hand before the flop and if you do 3-bet. If you likely don't then fold on this flop.

Playing it the way you did, I would bet the turn if CO folds and SB calls. If both call, I would check the turn.

I don't see the point of the flop raise. Yeah, you might be able to get both of these guys to fold, but the pot is small, and your hand has questionable showdown value unimproved. There's nothing to fight over.

would it make a difference of the limping donkey was a checking poster ???

[/ QUOTE ]

If the limping donkey was a checking poster, and I felt obligated to put in 4 small bets to see the turn when I miss the flop (albeit not the worst flop ever), I'm going to put 3 of those 4 bets in before the flop.
