Default I want to fold ... no wait, raise!

Jam this pot pre-flop? I'd jam it in SB or BB if no raise, but with an UTG raiser, thought it bet to call and see the flop.

I wanted to fold so badly on the flop. What did I have besides a re-draw. But closing the action, 16-1 is too tempting. Does anyone play it differently?

River standard?

Default Re: I want to fold ... no wait, raise!

I think calling is all right preflop. I wouldn't 3-bet.

Your backdoor draws on the flop don't amount to all that much, in part because there is a pretty good chance that someone has an ace, like BB, for instance (so I don't think all that much of your potential pair outs, either, and UTG also quite possibly holds a couple of those himself or is cutting into your weak backdoor straight draw with whatever he does hold). I probably would have folded, but I don't have a big problem with peeling, getting 16:1, closing the action.

Given your relative position to MP3, I like the lead on the river. (Also, no one's shown consistent interest in the hand, and it would be awful if the river got checked through.) And it certainly did work out nicely when MP3 raised.
