Default Raymer Repeat = -EV

from responses to my last thread about who would bring the most fish to the game, I think it's the general concensus that raymer (a geeky, educated guy) repeating would hasten the impending collapse of the poker bubble. agree?

Of the remaining players with above average chip stacks (and listed on Cardplayer's chip counts) I think Clonie Gowen or Dutch Boyd would probably be the best candidates to win and help the poker boom. Yah, I hate Boyd, but a pretty well known 20-something would further entice the teen and college crowd.

Does the teen and college crowd really need to be enticed?

I'll go with Clonie Gowen as the most EV+ but I'm kinda rooting for Gavin Griffin.

Not really, but don't you think a Boyd win is probably better for the boom than a known pro or some middle aged nobody in the mold of Varkonyi?

If Gowen sticks around much longer you have to think ESPN will start putting her at the featured table.

Raymer Repeat = +++EV

That would "prove" that poker is a game of skill. Since everybody believes that they're the best, more people would play. Just some thoughts.

Dont worry, the odds of raymer repeating are 400-1 at best.
