If I remember correctly, the BBJP had no extra drop when it was in beta.

[/ QUOTE ]

You are very correct.

[/ QUOTE ]

You can be quite certain that when these go out of Beta, there will absolutely be a drop. Play them now while they are free, it won't last long.

They better start charging a drop soon, b/c SFs get hit ALL the time on Party -- anyone want to get an exact frequency # from PT?
I haven't seen just how many HHJP tables there are, but SFs, in the aggregate, really aren't all that rare.

Remember people: check/call them down.

Does anyone know if this applies to any NL tables as well as limit?

[/ QUOTE ]
Only LHE. I imagine this is not going to change when it goes out of beta because the BBJP tables are only LHE also.

Thats a receipe for disaster. You need the hand to be raked along with a showdown.

This just happened and popped up on my screen....

Tburgerking has hit the Beta High Hand jackpot and won $699.99.

jokerkoz, JohnnyDead2, rennwon, LeftyAce, Ride_ABasin, eetinya, gd2bnnc played in the hand and each received $42.86.

The next Beta High Hand Jackpot has been reset to $999.97.

So that is how it works I guess.

I'm too lazy to figure this out myself: when they do institute a charge, what's the lowest drop that would make playing at these tables +EV?

[/ QUOTE ]

It's an academic question because you can almost guarantee Party won't use a drop amount that makes the tables -EV for them. I'm too lazy to figure it out now too.

And I'm sure like the BBJ tables, they will institute a reseeding amount of 25% and an 'admin' fee of 60% or so.

jackpot is fixed at 1k, they just reseed it when its won

[/ QUOTE ]
That's what it sounds like. But then I don't understand this from the page I linked:
[ QUOTE ]
In the event that two qualifying Jackpot hands are hit at exactly the same time, the hand starting first (based on our system clock) will be awarded the jackpot.

[/ QUOTE ]
If it is reseeded every time it is hit, shouldn't both people get $1k? Also, if I open one of the tables, the current jackpot is $1000.03. Where did those three extra cents come from?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think the same time wording is in there for once they stop calling it a beta and start collecting a drop each hand. Once they do that they wouldn't be able to award both people the same jackpot.

Also right now since you have about 1/65000 odds of hitting a royal in one hand. At a full table party is basically giving away over a buck per hand.
