($16) AQ - facing flop 3-bet
No reads (as per standard at this stage). Converter seems to be malfunctioning. All comments appreciated.
Hand 1: Blinds are 15/30 Relevant stacks (9 handed): MP2 (1380) Hero in CO (1820) Folds to MP who raises 3xbb, Hero calls with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] flop is Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] pot is (225) MP bets 120, Hero raises 180 to 300, MP raises 360 to 660, Hero... So in a ring game versus a non super LAG I would muck this instantly but I wanted to pursue it further for some reason in a tournament setting. Standard fold? |

Re: ($16) AQ - facing flop 3-bet
Easy fold for me. Unless he is a complete donk that would play KQ like this I say best case scenario you are splitting. You see AA/KK here a lot. TT as well, QQ unlikely since you have AQ.
Granted in a 16 there are a lot of donks, but always assuming your opponent play trash will hurt you. I like the preflop call, like the flop raise, and MP now told you he can beat top pair. Basicly I like your line if you folded to the threebet. |
