Default call this turn?

6/12 loose passive live game. 6 limpers to me in the BB and I check with 43 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. The flop is 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I check, UTG bets, two folds and everyone else calls. Turn is the 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. I check, UTG bets, only one MP calls and the button raises (bad but randomly aggro player). - 10BB pot. I fold. Is this fold good/bad? Should I play this differently somewhere?

Why? To clean up your 3 and 4 outs? I dont like checkraising with 4 high.

I think you have to call the turn. There will be 12BB in the pot when everyone calls, you're getting 6:1 + implied odds of maybe 4 or more bets on the river. Easy easy call.

4 of the outs are pretty dirty and if it comes it may kill the action.

because you have 8 outs and are 2.2-1 to hit your straight and getting more than 3 callers seems +EV to me to keep building the pot

This is definately true. Plus you don't know if UTG will continue raising, or if the players in between will call the raise. I think a fold is the best move here.

The 2.2 you are thinking of is the odds of hitting 8 outs from flop to river.

The actual odds here are closer to 4.5:1. However, you may not have 8 full outs. A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] don't look good, nor does any 6 for that matter, as any of these give any 8 a better straight and all of the above mention cards (> 50% of your outs) will effectively kill your action on the river. I think you need a way bigger overlay to call this. I would call had there not been a raise.

Dude, recheck your math. 38-8 is never gonna be 2.2-1.

This is a fold. Way too many ways to loose. OP does not have 8 clean outs here. The turn card nearly killed his hand. The raise is the coup de grace.
