Default TT - Did I Play This Right?

UTG is a semi-loose passive\passive. My image at the table is pretty loose and aggressive, stealing lots of small pots. My VPIP at the time was around 35% about an hour in, raising about 20% of the time pre-flop. I've played with UTG before and I think in his eyes I'm a stealing LAG.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) converter

UTG+1 ($15.70)
Hero ($27.85)
MP2 ($11.60)
CO ($15.20)
Button ($5.05)
SB ($24.05)
BB ($30.45)
UTG ($27.20)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.25</font>, MP2 calls $1.25, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, UTG calls $1.

Flop: ($4.10) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG bets $3</font>, Hero calls $3, MP2 folds.

This was a surprise, not typical from this guy to lead into the raiser. Still, I felt like he was sick of me raising the limpers (I had been doing this a lot prior, with junk because they'd fold on the flop and I know in my past sessions with this guy I've done the same) and he was trying to take a stand. My read on him was a smaller pocket pair or two big cards, I didn't think he had the A but I can't be 100% and the bet into me was different for him so I call.

Turn: ($10.10) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG bets $5</font>, Hero calls $5.

I'm going with my read...still a little uneasy so I just call.

River: ($20.10) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
UTG checks, Hero checks.

Now I'm pretty sure he doesn't have it but again, I'm a little uneasy so I checked. I think I should have bet here.

Final Pot: $20.10

Thoughts? &lt;bracing self&gt;

if you didn't put him on the A you should've raised him on the flop and reasses on the turn.

as played i don't mind the check behind, but i'd prefer a 2/3 pot bet.

Looks like UTG has about $8 left. Put him all-in. He's calling with any pair.

Doesn't UTG have $17.95 left? Thanks for the input guys; UTG had pocket 3s. I realize this isn't the greatest of content but it was a hand that was bugging me.
