Re: Ducks

blind post I would go for a check raise on that flop, it is quite likely that UTG+2 will bet, and you can gain some value while ahead and squeeze UTG for two cold. [/ QUOTE ] no no no |

Re: Ducks
[ QUOTE ]
Ok, fine, I'll say it. I don't like the preflop call. You've got a known loose caller, follwed by an unknown raiser, and unknown cold-caller (probably pretty bad, but unknown is unknown) followed by you. 6:1 really isn't enough for me to be happy playing a small pair OOP. One more loose limper before the raise, or one more cold-caller after and I'm there, tho, so it's close. [/ QUOTE ] this advice is just insane. this is the easiest call in the history of human kind. |

Re: Ducks
i think you've played it fine so far. i would just call on this turn and see what the river brings which usually does not lead to folding unless the river action has a raise in it.

Re: Ducks
I don't make this pf call. 22 is a drawing hand that is worthless without a third 2. Three other players is too many for your 2s to be valuable alone, and not enough to make your set a lot of money when it does hit, especially since you're out of position.
Call the turn and pray that you fill up. |
