Only in Texas could Clement and Thorne be thought of as elite. :P

It's funny, the further we are away from Philly's heyday in the '70s, the bigger Bill Clement's role was on the team! Dude, you were nothing. A 4th line checker at best!

And Gary Thorne may very well have the worst voice in hockey. I shiver just thinking about it. I can't even watch any games he announces.

As far as Lon and Chad go... meh. I'm getting really sick of Chad's jokes, he needs new material.

The announcing reached an all-time low tonight. On the many hands where someone (usually Ivey) was contemplating calling an all-in with their drawing hand, not once was pot odds ever brought up. Even though Chad is sometimes funny, his poker analysis is horrible. It would be like broadcasting the Super Bowl with two guys who know nothing about football, except maybe how to keep score, in the booth.
