Wow.
Sorry to read about that. That sucks, man. It's perfectly normal to take time away when something like this happens. Your brain is obviously in a different place than it needs to be to really play, as I would expect it to be. Mine was when I went through similar stuff. Eventually, it will come back. But your focus is needed in a different area. I'll give ya a call and yap with ya. Again, sorry to hear that. It sucks when bad sh*t happens to great people. Hang in there. My thoughts are with ya. b

So sorry for what has happened to you and your family. As others have said, don't be afraid to lean on your family and friends. You'll need them to get you through this, and that's OK.
After reading this, it makes all the other posts here seem pretty meaningless, so one can easily see why you don't want to play. Someday you might, but until then, I hope you do what you can for you and your family to feel better.
