Default Re: Best rock albums since 1990

There have been some really good ones listed so far...

I'll try my best to give some more respect to the past and build a more comprehensive list. (Edit as I'm making it: this list gets real crowded, real fast. There are some that you just cannot deny...)

1. Weezer- Blue album
1,5. Nirvana- Nevermind
3. Smashing Pumpkins- Siamese Dream
4. Bright Eyes- Fevers and Mirrors
5. RHCP- Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik
6. The White Stripes- Elephant
7. Radiohead- OK Computer
8. Sublime- 40oz to Freedom
9. Pearl Jam- Ten
10. The Shins- OIW
11. Modest Mouse- Lonesome Crowded West
12. Bon Jovi- Cross Road
13. Pennywise- About Time
14. Green Day- Dookie
15. Oasis- What's the Story (Morning Glory)
16. Belle and Sebastion- Dear Catastrophe Waitress
17. Offspring- Smash
18. Soundgarden- Superunknown
19. Autolux- Future Perfect
20. Ambulance LTD.- Ambulance LTD.

Left off some that I really wanted to add and some that are probably very deserving (GNR- Use Your Illusion, etc)

oops, Linkin Park-Hybrid Theory and Silverchairs-Frogstomp, are pretty good IMO. The rest, I don't like at all.

[/ QUOTE ]

I didn't expect you to like them, just throwing out some shitty mainstream rock albums of the last 15 years.

his voice doesn't change at all during the songs. so i just get tired of it. i saw them in concert about 8 years ago and it just made me want to goto sleep. once i got the cd's, i thought they were much better.

I really like that Silverchair CD, and what can I say, Linkin Park is my guilty pleasure.

I hate Frogstomp, but Neon Ballroom might crack my top 20.

Same thing happened to me when I ripped my Hum CDs years ago. Sucks.

2 more. Although I was wrong -- one of them is a different album by one of the bands listed.
