What happened here ? This is a crazy thread. It seems like once every 2 weeks or so , there is a huge eruption and people start piling in on a thread and venting at each other. Quality stuff. I enjoyed it.

It must be nice not to have everyone venting at you for once, eh?

ive read all the books i have, in 1-2 nl maximum buy in 100$ you have to make a move when you have 40 - 60$ left, you cant call a 15$ raise and hope to hit the flop or have over cards come out and face bets its 1/4 to 1/3 of your stack the proper play is to push it in, why not try to pick the pot up pre flop. that is the correct play

yes that quote was kinda jumbled im just sick of you people critquing my play and i was typing about 100mph. the point of this thread was to get people to share some bad beat stories not have people tell me if i played correctly or incorrectly. i do know that the hands i played i played correctly, in this game where you can only buy in for a maximum of 100$ if you get down around 40-60 $ i cant flat call a 15$ raise with 88 and hope no high cards come out or hope to flop a set. thats anywhere from 1/4 to 1/3 of my stack. the proper play is to push in there and try to not even see a flop. and my reads everytime i made that i pushed with mid PP were correct which is the point i was trying to make with that quote. people were feciously talking about my reads but guess what they were correct each time. if you have the ability to read people and understand their betting patterns then you can figure out what they have. so if you have a very good idea that you know what someone else has and you know you have a better hand, will you not move all in? so you tell me why i am a lost cause

in a live cash game you wont go all in when you know you have the best hand. you have a long way to go pal, yes my reads are good, this is not online people easier to get reads.

You are a lost cause...

I was going to try to explain things but that quote just blows my mind. Listen to these people giving you advice. They know what they are talking about.

Recommendation from a friendly source:

You (TM/OP) may want to post some specific hands, in a format more like what we're used to here (a la bisonbison converter), and see what kind of response you get.

LOL!

We've got enough bad beat stories to fill an ocean with tears here. The fact of NLHE is that IT HURTS when you lose. A lot. Blowing through 4-700 at a 1/2 session sucks, but it does happen if you're playing aggressively.

I've questioned myself on many occassions.

This particular board (SSNL) isn't the friendliest of places, but that's life man.

Just try not to take it too personally.
