Default 888 sculpture

This one doesn't count for the record, but here's a couple pics of a chip sculpture composed of 888 chips.

^I have tried to create a sculpure similar to the one in the 2nd pic

I wasnt able to get it very high. I was using 11.5g suited chips. Not ideal for that kind of thing.

I would get it going pretty well.. then put on another row of chips, and SPLAT, they all [censored] go down.. aot8ha;wdjrhas'lfkasdfkasf blah, [censored] hell, all tha time wasted.

excuse my anger.. im a bit drink and still upset over the UNC.DUKE game..
Im a big UNC fan.. however, I predicted Duke to win by 2..
I just wish I had someone to take my $100 bet on the game.
Seriously, even though everyone I offered the bet to is also a poor college student as I am... I am a UNC fan saying UNC would NOT cover the -1.5 spead...
bah, I hijacked the thread.. ignore everything I just said.
I think I need to go to sleep. Class at noon... its 1 am. I need at least 12 hours of sleep... meh.. im going to be a grumpy person in the morning

That was at a 2/4 table? Well done. You need to get a new shirt and some Douche-Bag-Be-Gone with the money though...

amazing work with the 888 sculpture! i don't completely see how this is possible to actually construct but the proof is in the pictures. well done!

Come on boys, someone must be dying to set that long-sought, often thought impossible, 400 chip tower record.

We'll have a go at it as soon as the Egyptians arrive (probably next week). I think 400 is possible with the RT Plastics (we had 400 briefly, but didn't get a picture).
I haven't seen any reports yet of how well Chipcos stack -- it will be interesting to see.

If somebody wants to send us 500 Paulson's, we'll be glad to report on how well they stack..

PS I'm going with plaques/ocatagons not counting...

In anticipation of the Egyptians, I was wondering about this. I'll see how many 39mm Chipcos we can stack. But the plaques and octagons *are* poker chips, after all... so I'll try a stack with them in it, as well. The Egyptians deserve an unfair advantage, don't you think?

I'm gonna need a LOT more plaques and octagons....

oops --- after reviewing this thread, I see that MSPatton has reported on the stackability of Chipcos.. Maybe w/ the plaques and octagons, the Egyptians can at least capture the title in the "Chipcos" category..

If 5StarDeal ever decides to send me the rest of my James Bond chips I might give it another try. They charged my card on 1/27, sent me half my chips a couple days later, and are now not replying to my emails about the rest of my chips.
