Near as I can tell from Microsoft's technet, it is a memory allocation program where the Empire installation program is attempting to access a memory block that has already been allocated by another application.

i played off like 300 hands, then watched the daily show, when i came back it said my account was frozen and i had to call them, when i called they just said i had a partypoker account and they needed to make sure it was me, so they did and then reactivated my account, weird, but it works, and is the greatest thing ever.

Just tried this -- YES, it does work.

However, you must play 2500 raked hands to get it. You have a month to do so. It's not a gimmick by Empire -- they make lots of money off all the raked hands you must play. Their way of encouraging very heavy usage of their site.

I just got it as well.

For those who did not get it (gabby and others) make sure you are entering the code properly.
Out of instinct I typed MATCHBONUSSEP (with 2 S's) and then double-checked and saw that it's really MATCHBONUSEP (with 1 S).
also, make sure it's all capitalized.

I saw this thread earlier but didn't open it....figured it was just another empire reload that they weren't offering me since I didn't have a pop-up or e-mail.
But when I saw there that were over 80 replies on this I thought "hmmmmm....maybe something is going on here".

Awesome bonus. Just dropped 500 into my account and the bonus was there. Nice to see Empire do something good for a change, after the awful VIP program and annoying popups I was thinking of taking my business elsewhere.

They keep offering bonuses like these, though, and I'm sold.

Have written a post to MultiPoker but no answer yet so I am asking here now:

Deposited 900 there yesterday to get their first time deposit bonus. Got the 150 but can I take out 500 of the 900 and still retain the bonus? Note, that I have not yet completed the required amount of raked hands there. Really want to take part in the Empire bonus [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I don't know about multi....but on ALL the other party skins there is no penalty for cashing-out before clearing the bonus and I strongly suspect multi would be the same way.

To answer the other question.
Yes, Empire has all the same players as Party.
It is a skin of party and all the ring-games are exactly the same players.
The tables are different colors and that's about the only difference. Just a different door into the same poker-room.

There ARE slight differences though. The multi-table tourneys on each site are different (so if you're in a tourney on empire you are playing against ONLY empire players) and the Bad-Beat Jackpot tables are unique to party.
But all the other ring-games on party and empire are exactly the same.
