For those of you who didn't pick it up it seemed to happen after you clicked the link that led (appropriately) to "You are an idiot".

[/ QUOTE ]
Ohoh.
How did you clean up?
I probably have it too.

[/ QUOTE ]

Norton Anti Virus picked it up on a file at location "Documents and settings/....[you1]" I followed the instructions on Norton/Symantec's website for getting rid of trojan horses, basically temporarily disable system restore, restart in safe mode, find the infected files, delete said files and delete all temporary internet files ...

The relevnat stuff I think is search documents and settings, including hidden files and folders for files including "you1" as part of the filename and delete them (I found 2), then delete all temporary internet files. I think this does it but I wasn't 100% sure which is why I was asking for help too.

Any help from anyone more knowledgeable who thinks I should be doing something else too would be appreciated.

Good Luck.

Mackas

I think you missed the point. I make no claim to being a world class poker player. I have made $45,000 so far this year, playing part time on Party 15/30 and 20/40. Maybe you think that's "pin money". To me it is significant income (more than I've made from my day job). You seem to think that "I can't beat online poker for as much as I think I should be able to." is synonymous with "Online poker can't be beaten for as much as it should be." I'm suggesting that what "I can't beat online poker for as much as I should be able to" should suggest to you is "Maybe I'm not quite as good a poker player as I thought I was".

Bob the generator gives you wins in waves and gives the other players wins in waves, with strange beats, most of your losses are granted opponent specific, but I have played on many sites and besides pack ball Pacific(which I expected strange suckouts because of the 6 to the flop 4 to the river) I have never seen such strange [censored]. Also I beat the Party games not for as much as I think I should though when I compare to the equally soft games I played at Pokerroom and other sites.....

I'm a world class player who has been playing for over 30 years. I've seen it all, believe me.

It has been my experience that EVERY SINGLE TIME some new poster shows up at ANY discussion forum on ANY topic ANYWHERE on the internet and starts of a post with something similar to the above that poster HASN'T seen it all and ISN'T nearly as accomplished and knowledgeable as he thinks he is, to say nothing of the CONDESCENDING attitude it displays.

Maybe you'll be the first this doesn't apply to... but I wouldn't bet on it.

Welcome to the forums.

You can almost see when your Ak will lose to some donkey cold call two off suited brick cards.

I know what you mean. It usually happens to me when I don't flop an A or a K. Isn't that strange?
