Re: Good Question For Catholics and Others
"There is no discernible difference between that and "nothing", is there?"
There is material nothingness and immaterial nothingness. That there was no material before a Big Bang can be true. But that there was no power or immeasurable intellect before material cannot be true. |

Re: Good Question For Catholics and Others
if the big bang theory could be proved by experiment in a laboratory setting. that would be the artificial creation of life. only of God is supposed to be able to create life. so your saying that the 100 or so people who can reproduce this act would be considered gods. its called the miracle of life because only god can do it. if any dick and tom can create life its no longer a miracle. religons are created to explain how life began and what happens after. if you could artificially create life there would be no need for religon anymore.

I don't see how it would be a problem for God to exist independently of time, though. |

[ QUOTE ]
there would be no christian or catholic religon without God [/ QUOTE ] Correct, but this doesn't mean they are the same. If you believe God exists: 1) God is... well, God. 2) Religions are methods of worship. |
