Default Re: $10,000 cash or $100,000 in nickels???

You say I can only buy things with the nickels themselves. Are there any rules as to what I can or can't do with the purchased goods and/or services after I have used my nickels to buy them? Are they then kind of out of your realm of control? For instance, how about if I buy real estate? I'm assuming this must be allowed. Are there rules as to if/when I'm allowed to sell my real estate, or do you even have any influence in that regard? If you do, what then am I allowed to do with the goods I buy with my $100k? Am I forced to use the barter system for the rest of my life as a result of taking this end of the deal? If not, why would I not be allowed to do something like buy $100k worth of short-term CD's (which are in principle the exact same thing as buying real estate or a stereo or a scooter or a floorlamp)? Not trying to "get around" anything; just trying to understand your proposition.

I am not knowledgable in this area at all so I may be way off, but instinctively this seems like a completely stupid thing to do, given how dirt cheap mortgages are.

I meant it figuratively. Back the truck up someplace, not necessarily the mortgage company. The point was that people will take the damn nickels. Hell it would actually be kinda fun just to see the look on their faces.

easy - $100,000 in nickels.

Then, I'd build a vault and swim through the nickles like Scrooge McDuck.

edit: dangit, someone stole my idea. i hate being late
