Can you read? Powers are not rights. Also, note that a government declaring that it has rights (were it to do so) doesn't make it so.

I didn't feel like reading through all 8 pages. You see, I have nothing to hide, and don't mind getting searched. However, groups like the ACLU are a buffer between liberal, democratic governments, and crazy totalitarian ones. Sure, you may think they draw the line in strange places, but they don't do it because they adamantly believe in every little thing they mention - it's the greater good that is important.

btw, if these searches are allowed, it will be mainly to search and arrest drug couriers. and most will be non whites
