Its not worth $50 for one of us to purchase. But it is smart on PV developers part. They are going to make $50 for every free version an affiliate gives a signee. It seems they are not neccissarily setting the price at $50 (high) for the everyday player, but for the affiliates that will pay it so they can have a new sign up. Smart, but not worth the same as PokerTracker.

Whatever.
This post was a free focus group for the Playerview folks. |

"Why? The fact that playerview lets me 8 table comfortably, probably increasing my hourly rate by 50%. It would pay for itself in a week."
I doubt it. I suspect you are overestimating how much PV helps you. -Michael |

[ QUOTE ]
Maybe I have other problems, but mine is still a little buggy. Every so often, a player that has been sitting at athe same spot will lose his stats, or the table averages will disappear. I wouldn't complain about having to force a reload when it was free, but $50 should get me software that doesn't have these glitches (albeit minor, I realize). All this being said, I'm probably going to either shell out the dough or sign up to a new skin to get a free copy, because I enjoy having it and I think it will / has payed for itself. Anyone know if any sites are doing this yet? [/ QUOTE ] This is what kept me using Gametime instead of Playerview. I don't like glitches, and Gametime works perfectly well. It seems even better now that one of the two choices costs 50 bucks and one is free. |
