Never tried straight up one stack, but I'm wondering about at a casino, stacking however you want, how many chips have you had in front of you at one time? I was at Barona in SD a couple months ago and after 8 hours playing their ridiculously weak 4-8, had 1500 whites. I didn't ever color because it just kept getting funnier and funnier. I had a pyramid literally 100 high with a very wide base.

you mean something like this guy's?

btw Barona's poker room is a joke. only 10 tables total and only 1 NL table running when i played there and the wait was about 3 hours to get on it. so i ended up having to play limit which i dispize. played for about 3 hours playing 3-6 and this kid won about $600 just chasing to the river. it seemed like everytime i had a made hand, someone would outdraw me. i think i won one hand the whole night when i flopped 2 pair but with a straight and flush draw out there but it never came. there is no way u are going to get poeple to fold at Barona. and their Kill Pot, i hate that sh!t.

hahaha, I am famous!!!!!

There was somewhere between 750 and 800 chips there totaling ~$3k, including at least one of every chips demonination up to $1k. Most I've ever had on a 2/4 table (seriously).

The chips are Dillinger's Gambling Hall (RT Plastics Fantasy Chip). Each color band in the stack is 10 chips. That's my son w/ the magic hands for stacking. This stack was pretty stable at 340. We had almost had 400...

Interesting that the highest stacks are Bud Jones chips (or copies). That squares with my experience that Chipco/ceramic chips won't stack as high as Paulson/clay chips, and that neither will stack as high as Bud Jones. Maybe that's why the WSOP chips are BJ, you know how those guys love to show off their big stacks!

P.S. Can't wait for Arsene Lupin to come back and beat 380 with those Dodge City BJ chips....

Default 380 super diamonds

Here's another stack of 380 chips, this time using those super diamond clay composite chips:
Each color band is 20 chips.

We also tried dice chips, but they were very unstable. 200 was pretty shakey, 280 was about the max.

The super diamond chips are *very* slippery -- moreso than the dice chips, but they are more stable in tall stacks.
