[ QUOTE ] Modern Amusement is the sh!t. Nice choice, Mason. [/ QUOTE ] One of my favorite things about it it is that it hasn't made it's way to the east coast really. I have some of their stuff from when I took a trip to LA and it's nice to know that I'll pretty much never run into anyone with one of those shirts on here in DC. [/ QUOTE ] I agree. It's still not very popular here either. They had a store open up in Hollywood and it closed pretty fast. Not sure what happened, but they only have small spots at Urban and one Macy's here in LA. |

[/ QUOTE ] They are an LA company, correct? I got one shirt at Fred Segal and a sweater and the shirt I posted in this thread at some small boutique. I'm surprised they're not doing better out there. I guess those birds are just tough to pull off. |

Re: *TT* rates OOT\'s fashion sense
I like Modern Amusement, but not that shirt. Its retro in a bad way. The belt buckle could be good, but its missing color and a chunky belt to match. Nice design on the Diesel kicks, but they need a serious washing... time to buy some new ones. Undies and jeans are both a-ok.
Your outfit earns a 6.5 on the *TT* sliding scale. You should have earned an additional point, but I took one away because I have a sneaking suspicion that you know better and this is not your best work. TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] |

For some reason though it's a girl magnet so I wear it every once in awhile. The shoes are indeed filthy. This was mostly my slumming at home outfit today since I skipped work. EDIT: If you haven't seen that shirt IRL it does look way better and it compliments my tall, skinny frame. It also takes some attention away from my shoulders which are... not very manly. How you know that though I'm not sure. I almost took pictures of stuff I didn't wear today but decided not to violate spirit of the thread. |

[/ QUOTE ] I met J-Lo 3 years before she became J-Lo. I was shocked to see the cellulite on her belly (which was exposed). Hence this look is not sexy to me, post my bad experience. TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] |

A mission for you TT
I got $100 gift card to Banana Republic. The website has extensive choices. I'm not a big fan of BR, but I'm sure I can find something. Instead, I want you to tell me what I need/can benefit the most from/will look good in.
Please present 2 or 3 options. Total cost $80-$130. Please avoid dress shirts and shoes. |

Its daring, wont be that common even though its BR. - Its a bit more expensive than JBB's budget, but its worth the extra investment. TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] |
