well as we've discovered (and I was well aware of before I did this 20 question poll) there are many many films that are deserving but aren't on that specific list.

I find it hard to judge CHL - it is a unique sort of movie - and I'm not prepared to say which is better, but Butch must be in there with the Newman greats.

The Sting is good, but then you've got Hud, and The Hustler for another couple. I like Cool Hand Luke as well, but I think these are better.

Ah, yes. The Hustler. Excellent movie. I haven't seen yet, but love Newman, so it's going at the top of my Netflix queue. Damn shame it's in B&W, though. Hate B&W. And Shawshank redemption is the greatest movie evar!
