Yes, it's a free market and they should do whatever they can to maximize shareholder value. It's also free for the consumer and pissing off a lot of customers is not a way to do so.

If PP takes a big hit for this and shareholders lose out, the both deserve it.

dont fall for it. This is another party trap. They want many of us long time innactive party players to jump in and play some tournament with the promise of a crappy small overlay, so that in 2 days when rakeback on party is announced but its only for people with long time innactive accounts, they can tell you to go [censored] yourself because you just played there in some crappy $50 tourny.
