I hope Raymer does make it to the final table. What an awesome ME he is having. Truly excellent.

However to say you would expect him to be at final table is naive. Average stack at final table will be about 6 million in chips. There is a long way to go. More precisely what would be the fair odd/line for him making it. I would guess at absolute best, it would be 4 to 1. My hunch is it would be higher, but without any mathematics I'd be confident in 4 to 1 as being the ceiling on this line.

Is it too early to plan a "final table" stategy? Yes, I know he
will be trying to win it all, but even 9th place assures him $1m and a definite high place in the poker "pecking order". This would especially be significant given the rumors of high level invitational tournaments down the road.
