And the brandishing of power got old a while ago. Who cares if he has the power to ban me? I do not. I'm all for improving the quality of a place like OOT. But the methods and approach are becoming fairly laughable. Enough said.

They started out as at least a little laughable no matter what your perspective on them overall. Strangely though, they seem to have had a positive effect regardless of their virtue. OOT was careening crazily into the toilet on binges of idiocy a couple months ago. There was an explosion of utterly worthless crap. Now it seems the place isn't worth totally giving up on anymore. Not because of any particular guys who got banned, but because of the threat of banning. Even profligate banning.

I'm happy [censored] is having a birthday. It's a great part of life. Does it also need to be a point to celebrate his power to shut down anyone who makes a mistake? Maybe. Probably not.
