Default Re: defenses!

I was actually going to say the Jags because it looks like a good matchup for them on paper, but then I thought: "if the Jets win the game which I think they will, that must mean they give up fewer points".

As I said in the betting forum today, I think people are on the Jags nuts because they played the media-darling Colts tough and if Leftwich played in NY people would talk less about his toughness and more about the lack of points he produces for his offense.
I hope I'm wrong though.

Choose my #2 wr:

Coles host Jax
Bruce host Tenn
Plax in SD

Also, does anyone consider not starting McGahee? I have him, Deuce, Caddy then Lamont on el bencho.

No way - I'm tired of the coach busting my balls all week, so I'm going to be pissed on Sunday.

Coles & Bruce is tough - don't play Plax. I think that game's going to get ugly for Eli & co.

I would consider playing Plaxico, he is Eli's favorite target and the chargers secondary is not that good.

Here's one:

Start Thomas Jones (vs. CIN) or Lamont Jordan (@ PHI)?

Thanks in advance.

Default Re: Weak 3, Fantasy Football Decisions?

This question is for 2 leagues, and involves the same players. These are 2 must win games for me.

League Rules: td=6, 10 yards/pt for rush/rec, -2 for turnovers

I have one RB slot I'm having trouble deciding how to fill in each league. Here are my options:

Stephen Davis - Car. playing at Miami
Mike Anderson or The Great Dayne - Den. playing at home Monday night against the Chiefs

I'm kidding about Dayne, although he could have his coming out party if Anderson reinjures his ribs.

I would normally start Davis, but he has a significant neck injury from last week when Rodney Harrison nearly succeeded in ripping his head off. He was listed as questionable and wasn't practicing earlier in the week, but has just been upgraded to probable. Anderson is probable as well (ribs) after being questionable last week, but he played through the injury last week, and has looked good in practice. He looked pretty good against San Diego (nearly 90 yards rush/rec), except for his his fumble on the goal line, which he claims was caused by the flak jacket he was wearing. Apparently Anderson's ribs are healed enough that this appears to be the last game he'll be wearing the flak jacket.

Both these guys have quality backups playing behind them. I'm just trying to determine which one is the least likely to have to leave the game due to injury. Both Miami and KC appear to have good run defenses. I'm thinking the heat and humidity in Miami could also adversely affect Davis as he's missed practice time this week. I'm even contemplating starting Davis in one league and Anderson in the other, as a hedge.

Thanks in advance.

P.s. - Panthers Defense (at Miami) or Jets D (vs. the Jags)

Default Isn\'t this a no brainer decision

Farve is on waivers, I have Plummer as backup to Culpepper. I drop Plummer and pickup Farve. Farve plays NO on Culpepper's off week Plummer plays Washington.

I have to pick 1 QB

Culpepper vs New Orleans
Palmer @ Chicago
Trent Green @ Denver

Pick 2 RBs

LT vs NYG
McGahee vs ATL
C. Williams @ GB

[/ QUOTE ]

You got to play Trent Green. He is one of the most consistent, and KC will have to pass effectively to beat Denver. LT is a lock. I like C. Williams lately. Its a toss up for the 2nd RB.
