His stats were great and he was an outstanding closer. But the way he closed games was nerve racking. It seemed like he constantly gave up line shots and deep gappers that the outfielders barely caught up with. He always had to make things interesting. I know I'm exaggerating, but with him it was never three ground outs and lets go home. He got the job done, but only after several heart-attack inducing at-bats. He seems like a nice guy though.

Cubic, if eddie scared you........what are your thoughts on the current crop of twins players. i would be referring specifically to the middle infielders, ie punto and his clones, terry tiffee and our ol pal, matthew lecroy.
