Sometimes I feel I just can't win, I am playing the best poker of my life and still I lose 5 buy ins a day, I just feel I can't overcome variance and I get afraid to play.
The last 5-6 sets or so I have been all in preflop with aces twice and kings 5 times preflop on or near the bubble, and lost all. I'm getting afraid and feel I just can't overcome variance and win, I don't wanna sit down several hours (all my spare time) and lose like alot of money ;/ What should I do?

Isn't it ironic telling me to calm down in the rant thread?

I had the worst run of bad beats a few days ago, losing AA every time (to A3 etc), AQ to KQ that kinda thing. 20 buyins down losing the profit I had already made on the month. It took the buscuit when I had AA, raised it up UTG, got called by the BB. Flop was JJ3 with 2 clubs. I make a bet and get flat called. The Turn card was another club. Great I think, the guy just hit his flush draw. I check, he checks. River card was another Jack. Great I think I just sucked out a full house on his flush. I bet, he raises, I go all in, he calls.
He had J6 offsuit... Today has been great though, and I made back all my losses plus extra.

So bad that I decided to cash out my remaining winnings before I [censored] donked them off too.
I'm still at about 18% over 500 or so SNGs, but I'm running so bad after the past few weeks that I decided to cash out my money and freakin enjoy it before I donk the rest off. I left enough money in there to start to rebuild once I feel like I can play right again, but jesus. There are some days (or weeks) that you just can't win a 65-35 favorite. Makes the baby jeebus cry. edit: I hadn't refreshed my SNG tracker. Make that 15%. I'm gonna start playing backgammon or something.

My luck today has been appauling. Great way to start a 'challenge'. Getting outdrawn left and right.
Dropped 15 buyins today through 66 sngs (was 21 before a win in my last game). Still have another 34 to do today. Over the last few days I've dropped 32 buyins, getting some back in my last game with a (lucky) win. I've still got plenty to play with at the $22s, but I really don't wanna dip under 1k. I am powering through these things though. I definately think I can keep this up for at least a week (ie 700 in 7 days).
