no effect.

williams made plenty of money if that's what it took to entice a few more college kids to make some deposits.

i don't think either Mr. Raymer or Mr. Williams could have had the effect of Moneymaker winning it..

Face it, it makes little difference who wins. The guy most responsible for poker's popularity is the guy who thought of showing the hole cards. Steve Lipscomb or Harry Orenstein anyone?
