Where is Tuan Le? He has won 2 major WPT events in the past few months and obviously knows how to win. He's not even on this list! The whole thing is garbage!

LOL... the original post shows Moneymaker being a better bet than David Chiu. Wasn't he player of the year 3 years back?

And the "respected offshore" sites have Moneymaker and Raymer even. Moneymaker was a first time player, Raymer is an accomplished pro.

Who writes these odds?

Default Re: An Old WSOP Proposition Bet

there is obviously not going to be a field bet, it would take a huge advantage from the house. the only way they might let you bet the field is if you were laying -5000 or something, but even then thats still a good bet.

edit: i just saw the post from the offshore book. those odds are more like it. i still dont think anyone on that list will win it but atleast the odds are reasonable this time.

btw +30000 means you must bet $100 to win $30,000, 300 to 1.
negative odds work in similar fashion. -5000 means you must bet $5000 to win $100, or 1 to 50.

Yes as stated, the odds shown are based upon a $100 wager. +30000 means 300-1. They also offer call in's on players not listed, they will book action on anyone. Not touting book, just stating what the real odds are that i've seen. I'll try a few for fun. Best tournament players in the world in my opinion would be Negranu, Hellmuth, Hanson, Ivey, Harrington.

Breaking News: Ben Affleck becomes better poker player than Phil Gordon, David Sklansky, Carlos Mortensen, Annie Duke, and Cyndy Violette.

Default Arbitrage

I wonder if you could put together a basket of pros and longshots to create a +EV arbitrage.
