Pushed my last 640 with deuces in EP. Not much choice, really, with blinds at 50/100. Unfortunately, dude that earlier doubled up against me with his 88 vs my AK won the coinflip again with big slick against my pocket pair.

Bleh... can't say I'm happy with my play in this one. Hopefully the Quarter Million tomorrow will go better. Good luck, all.

* if you can play them cheap to hit a set. usually only possible in late position or in the blinds, but sometimes you sneak in with them from EP or MP. don't attempt it if the table is aggressive.
* if you're desperate to take some chips like I just was... you hope for a fold, or to be called by AK or AJ like I was, and then you cross your fingers.

Things like low pairs, QJ suited, or Ax suited... you want to play them cheaply in NL. I'll sometimes try to limp in with them once or twice until it's proven that you won't get away with it at that table.

That table seemed pretty aggressive. Would have been hard to limp in with them. At that table, I would have just folded them or raised with them in MP.
