Default UPDATE #Whatever it is LOL

OK the cashout for $3K just hit my Neteller account, I am having them send me a check for $2K and I am keeping $1K there for Poker Bonii whoring, which I need because I still think I suck at poker even with a 1.76BB/100 win rate over 50K hands at .5/1 at Party, I know it is good to be in the black but I also know I should have at least double that winrate at .5/1 IMHO and the opinion of others.

I want to be the first to admit that what I did last night was EXTREMELY FOOLISH!!!!!

Regardless of the fact that I had a $3200 profit for the day, I know better than to go crazy like that on blackjack, I live 30 minutes from the closest casino. I have friends that have lost everything trying to do what I did last night at the local B&M.

I said in an earlier post that if I had reach $5000 I would have quit, but honestly I do not know that I would have, because then $7500 would have looked good and so on, and that is not the attitude I need to have towards gambling. Poker is a Skill!.....8 deck BJ, Dealer Hits Soft 17, Surrender, Double after Split, Deck shuffled after 10% penatration, is definately not SKILL!

To all those that said I should quit or pull out, I should have listen then, I had more of a chance of ending with $0 than I did of ending with $3300, I was lucky, nothing more than that.

Thanks for trying to look out for me, you do not know how much I appreciate it.

I am taking some time off for the month of May to spend some of this money but more importantly to rethink what it is I want out of poker and gambling, I know last night was blackjack, but Risky and Foolish, are not 2 words I want to describe my poker game, I also don't want to make shitty calls just because of the I have a slim chance to win this hand, but if I lose I still have all this blackjack money!! mentality . I will pop back on here occasionally but it will not be a daily thing like it has been here lately.

I really need some time to think.

Thank you.

FWIW, just winning the $100 in $600 of wagering at $1/hand was about a 1 in 10,000 event (around 3.8 sigma, I believe). I think you are probably making a good move in taking a few days off to get over the big win. If you do more casinos in the future, you're best plan of action is to flat bet the whole way. If you can afford to bet $200 on a single hand (I suspect you really can't) then you can afford to flat bet higher than $1, but pick a bet size and stick to it. I started at $2/hand for my first few bonuses. After I built up a little bit of a bankroll, I went up to $5. Now, I bet $10/hand. I will probably stay at $10 for a while since it still gives me $100+ hourly rates. I don't know what is the best bet size for you, but since you just won over $3k, $5/hand should be a very safe number. Just pick a bet that you are comfortable with and stick to it. And don't play past the WR. Good luck! (as if you need it...)
