Phil I. by most accounts acts like a gentleman.

Even had you not specified, the context would have told us that you meant Phil I. and not Phil H.

First of all, the odds of Moneymaker hitting on of his seven outs is 37:7, or 5.29:1.

[/ QUOTE ]

it's 7/44. 2 cards in MM's hand, 2 cards in Ivey's hands and 4 on the board. 2+2+4=8. 52-8=44

WTF are you talking about? The chances of him hitting his card is 7 out of 44. The odds of him hitting his card is 37:7 against.

Haha, I know. "What was that?" is Vernon's line right after Bender says the shorts bit.

What was to misread? I responded to a post saying his odds were 7/44 by saying that his actual odds were 37:7. You responded correcting me that the odds were, indeed, 7/44... Which part was misinterpretated? If you learned something new about odds, great, but why act like you already knew?

Before Jaquen H'gar responded to my post, I thought that he was saying that MM had 7 cards out of 37 to make his hand. So I responded that it was 7 out of 44. Then Jaquen H'gar had a hissy fit over my post and responded that he was stating MM's odds were 37:7, and his chances were 7/44. I did not know that they were different. Maybe I should have said I misunderstood his post. Does that make you happy now, otnemem?

You guys get riled up way too easy; no wonder smoothcall and VL can bait you so easily.
