I missed the big hand Phil lost, and only saw the aftermath.

Someone care to post the action???

It will be on later tonight. But, a quick summary-

fish raises in LP with KJ [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Phil H. reraises with AKo. Fish reraises all in, phil instacalls (phil covers).

board comes all blanks, and the river is a J. Phil spazes, calling the competetion at the WSOP the 'worst players in the world'.

The guy on Marcel's left reminds me of "Willie Tanner" on ALF

Default My Big Television Debut!!!

Ok, right before the very last hand they showed at the feature table in episode 4, I am the guy in the One Seat stacking the previous pot.

At one point, when Simon mistook a Barry White song Marcel was singing for a Billy Freakin Joel song (!!!), he said something like "well, we know soul when we hear it" and I shot back "Hey, buddy--there's not a lot of SOUL at this table!," but I guess ESPN thought I was too pasty and my chin too weak and my hair too flat to give me any actual time.

Also, I busted the guy who had originally been in Glenn Hughes' seat.

And I bluffed Luske off of one pot with a preflop resteal.

<sigh>

i like tamao sato, or whatever her name is

A screen capture would be good. I don't remember her ever being mentioned in the live coverage of the event.

[/ QUOTE ]

She's on the left.

"Ahhh...sweet memories of my first honeymoon."
-Norman chad after the Swedish guy was screaming 'No! No! No! No! No!...........YES!!!!!'

Probably the all-time funniest NC comment EVER.

(or am I just operating on too little sleep....I actually laughed out loud at that one)

[/ QUOTE ]

No, you're ok...it really was funny.

Chad gets a bum rap.

I don't know if I've ever seen anyone talk back to him very much though.

I would really expect someone to respond to him with a good ol' "hey Phil. You're a jack-ass."
And I know that I would be very tempted to do just this if Phil ranted on and on about some hand that I played against him.

[/ QUOTE ]

I have this fantasy where I bust Hellmuth down to one or two chips so he has to stick around and do his ranting at the table and when he's done I calmly say "You know Phil, if it weren't for luck you'd still be a douchebag."

My favorite tonight was "Marcel's doing his Travis Bickle impression". He still offers nothing in the way of decent poker analysis, but at least he's funny.

I was wondering what happened to the AK hand where Phil flops trips and the other guy has a boat and he folds....I guess they didn't want to show that?

Or was that just a rumor that came off the AK vs AA hand?

It was misreported originally. The AK vs. AA hand is what you were looking for.
