BRONCOS -13 OVER jets
This is easy money. The Broncos are a well-oiled machine and virtually unbeatable at home. The Jets are just in freefall right now and their offense is handing the other team points instead of scoring their own. Mismatches all over the field in this game. I can't see Denver winning by less than 3 scores. The Jets have no reason to play hard here and even if they did, they don't have the personnel on the field to put up even a vague fight. Broncos 38-10
Thoughts?

I'm on the Broncos -12.5, but that's still a lot of points to give. No reason the Broncos can't dominate, then go into a prevent D up by 17 and give up a garbage time TD at the end. Also no reason Denver can't lose the turnover battle and wind up in a close game, or even lose outright.
I think they'll cover, but I could easily be wrong.

[/ QUOTE ] Well, I realized that I cheated because I was counting Giants -4 for the 3+1 contest. The other two lines I loved were Jacksonville -4 (lost) and Chicago +3 (won). Fezzik had Chicago as his game of the year (4 weight) and commented, "This game is the poster child IMO separating losing NFL bettors and winning bettors...The line is, IMO, a nobrainer 'pick'. At 2.5 the Bears looked to have value, at +3 it's time to push a huge stack of chips into the pot." Congrats on your win on Denver.

Realize that, in the NFL, there have been fewer than 20 games the past 13 years that had lines of -17 or worse for the favorites. And these games are all huge, huge mismatches. Powerhouse teams at home against pathetic teams on the road. Even if you think that a "fair" price is -16, which seems highly unlikely, DEN would only cover 13 about 60% of the time. They are certainly not "true" 20 point favorites, which is about the point where this would be called "easy money".
